Imagine being in a safe place for a few moments. You can create this place and design it in your mind. You can be in a familiar place. Just choose somewhere and be somewhere that you can relax and feel safe, secure and at ease. Let the sensations of safety spread through you and engage in the place you are in; see the sights and notice colours, shades of lights and details.
Hear the sounds, those that are near and obvious as well as those that are subtle or distant. Notice how you experience feeling safe.
Tell yourself that you drift deeper as you engage with and imagine this safe place, and when you have created it and feel as though you have deepened you experience, then move on to the next step.

Step Three
Now move your awareness inside of yourself in this place. That is, stop engaging with the surroundings and move your awareness to you and your body.
Become aware of your breathing and get a sense of the rhythm of your body, your pulse rate and your feelings.
Notice your heart, become aware of your heart beating and allow each beat of your heart to take you deeper inside your mind.
While you focus on your heart, remaining safe and comfortable, also notice that there are bands of some kind wrapped around your heart. They are like ties of some kind that weight and tighten the sensation of your heart.
You and your mind know what these ties represent that are around your heart.
These ties represent the emotional pain that you have experienced recently in your life. Get a sense of what they represent for you and notice how you experience them being there. It is almost as if the bands are holding the pain in and from time to time, that bands get tighter and seem to keep thepain there in your heart.
Be aware of this sensation as much as is useful for you, then move on to the next step.

Step Four
Focus on your mind and in your mind create a spark of light of some kind. 
Perhaps it is like a distant light, of a particular colour, but as you think about it, it becomes brighter and stronger and more radiant inside your mind.
Notice the colour, the temperature of it, and let it get bright inside your mind. Add any strength and resources or sense of joy and release to the light and let it signify a deep healing.
Then send it strongly and powerfully to your heart. You might imagine it flying out of you and back to your heart, you might imagine is moves through your body or you may just make it arrive as if teleported to your heart – do what is right for you and get the light to your heart and watch what happens…
Notice the light seems to loosen, lighten and melt the bands. Notice how the ties ease their grip and eventually even disappear and dissipate. The light soothes and eases the sensation within the heart and it spreads to the tummy, shoulders and any other affected areas too.
Take all the time to let each tie disappear and be melted thoroughly as you imagine all that emotional pain is released. At this point, signal to yourself the pain ebbing away; you might sigh out loud, or just exhale deeply.
Perhaps you feel sensations let go, or imagine a colour change, just do whatever is right to signify that release and letting go, as well as a
dissipation of the old, unwanted feelings that are replaced by warmth and soothing feelings growing and building within you.
Spend some time letting that good feeling grow and develop, then move on to the next step.

Step Five
Pick a typical time or place in your life that has been difficult for you to deal with, that used to trigger the old pain that you used to have. Put yourself in that place in a future moment and watch how you breathe, create the light in your mind that soothes and dissipates the old pain and loosens those ties, those bands that used to tighten…
Spread the good feelings through your body and in detail, watch how well  you cope in that situation now.
Repeat this process as many times as you like before you move on to the final step.

Step Six
When you feel confident that you can use this process in your real-life, then take a couple of nice, deep energizing breaths, wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes.

On the other hand, if you repeatedly say and think to yourself something like, “I am capable of creating a life I love,” you will indeed create a life you love.
Speak well of yourself and you will begin believing you do have what it takes to create and live the life you most want.

2. Live in a positive environments. Surround yourself with people who have integrity and self-respect. Sounds a bit obvious, but if you have friends that lack respect for themselves (in other words, lack self esteem) you probably either do or soon will too. This is because your environment, what and who you surround yourself with, plays a big role in how you see and treat yourself.
Negative environments are hard to break free from but if your environment is full of negativity or people who lack respect for themselves, consider what you must do for yourself (specifically, stay or go!). If you are surrounded by people who criticize others (and you) and speak poorly of themselves, then my strict advice is run, don’t walk! Remove yourself from their company. In fact, in my opinion, no company is better than toxic company.

3. Take action on what you say you are going to take action on or do
not say it! Don’t say you are going to do something unless you really
intend to do it. We have all experienced the “big talker” – the person who talks about their big plans but never does anything to make them happen.
The “big talker” loses face because no one believes they will do what they say they are going to do. Additionally, you can lose face with yourself, generating a lack of trust in yourself and eventually a lack of self esteem.
Be careful to ONLY take things on that you intend to take action on and if you do not intend to take action, do not talk about it. Walk your talk and remain true to your commitments. This is what Don Miguel Ruiz refers to as being “impeccable with your word” and it translates into integrity. People with integrity have healthy self esteem. Integrity breeds confidence.

4. Accept fear and obstacles as a natural part of life and growth.
Beating yourself up when you find yourself gripped by fear and other emotions is detrimental to say the least. We often judge ourselves when we have these feelings – we tell ourselves that we are scared because we are inadequate or don’t have what it takes. From time to time, everyone feels afraid, confused and out of sorts. Be aware when these feelings are present but tell them to take a back seat to your dreams and desires – don’t let them stop you. Keep moving forward by telling yourself you are much more than the obstacles you face and failures you have experienced.

5. Take time out to focus on all that you have done well – Give
yourself some “Yays!” Each day, take a moment throughout your
activities to give yourself a “yay” for the things you do. You could even take some time at the end of the day to write down all that you have done well – include EVERYTHING you can think of!

Bottling your wine can be one of the most challenging and time consuming parts of the wine making process or one of the easiest after some practice and the right equipment. These are my tips and suggestions to help you get this part of making your own wine done with less hassle and more time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.


Bottles
Building a supply of bottles can be as easy as going to your local supply store and buying them. This is what I did in the beginning but it can get expensive especially if you have to pay for shipping if you don’t have a supply shop nearby.
A more economical solution is to reuse empty bottles which can be
acquired for free from friends, local bars or restaurants. For the normal 6 gallon batch made from kits you will need 31 empty 750 ml bottles for your wine. I thought a batch makes only 30 bottles you are thinking, but if you have racked your wine well and there is no fines in the bottom of a full carboy it will yield 31 bottles. I use many 1.5 L bottles which also saves time and money since there are fewer bottles to clean and sanitize and less corks to buy.

Cleaning the Outside
Cleaning the used bottles can be a challenge but I have found a
straightforward approach, which works, well for me. I have a deep plastic sink set up in the basement where I do all my cleaning/washing which beats the heck out of carry everything up the stairs to the kitchen and making a mess in the wife’s space! I use a scraper sold in the paint section of your local hardware store which you can replace the razor blades to scrape the labels off under hot running water. Replace the blade often;
scraping the glass does dull them. Work horizontally across the bottle and most labels come off fairly easily. The hot water helps soften the glue but I have found some labels actually get stickier with hot water. For these problem ones I use product called Goo Gone (also found in the paint section) to help dissolve the glue. After you have the labels removed I use a SOS pad to scrub the remaining glue off and then rinse in hot water.

Cleaning the Inside
Now that the outside of the bottles is clean it is time to clean the insides. If the bottles were not rinsed when they were emptied and have sat around awhile the mold starts to grow and these are only good for the recycle bin. I would not take a chance trying to clean them and possibly contaminating your wine. Tell your friends to rinse please after they empty their wine bottles. Get yourself a bottle washer that attaches to the faucet on your sink. This is one of the most time saving items you can have as a wine maker; it makes rising bottles and carboys a snap! Using you bottle washer to rinse the bottles well with hot water and inspect each one to make sure
the inside is visually clean. If any bottles need cleaning of solids or stains (remember no mold!) you can use a bottle brush and an oxygen based cleanser like B-Brite to clean your bottles. I then rinse the bottles with hot water using my bottle washer.

Sanitize before filling
Now that the bottles are clean, it is time to be sanitize them for filling. The next two pieces of equipment are not required, but will save you time and hassle. These are the bottle rinse vinator and a bottle drainer tree. Make up your sanitizing solution and add it to the bottle rinser vinator and rinse each bottle with the solution. My sanitizer of choice (and the one recommended by all wine kit manufacturers) is Potassium Metabisulfite or Sodium
Metabisulfite. A solution is prepared by mixing 3 tbsp. to a gallon of water.
This solution does not requiring rinsing as the residual amount of sulfite left in the bottle is well below 1 ppm. This solution will keep for 2-3 months and I store mine in a 1-gallon glass jug. Place the sanitized bottles on your clean bottle tree as you go. After some drying time, your clean and sanitized bottles are now ready to be filled with your wine.

Filling your bottles
There are different ways to fill your bottles and you should find the way that works the best for you and use it. I fill most of my bottles straight from the carboy using a Fermtech Auto Siphon with 5-6 ft. of tubing and spring loaded or fast-flow bottle filler. This only works when you have racked your wine well and there are no fines at the bottom. This method works well with a helper, which I usually have and she corks the bottles as I fill them. The other method used is racking your finished wine into a bottling bucket.
This works well if you are bottling by yourself and also if you need to rack off from some fines in your carboy. The bottling bucket has a spigot near the bottom and you attach a short piece of tubing between the spigot and your bottle filler.
Whatever method you use the most important part is cleaning and
sanitizing all the equipment you use to get the wine from your carboy and into your bottles. Use caution and limit the amount of splashing you do when transferring you finished wine and filling bottles, as this could dissolve oxygen in to your wine. Your bottles should be filled so that after you insert the cork or cap you limit the head space to no more than 1 inch. The larger the head space the more chance of oxygenation occurring in your wine after it is bottled even if you have the proper amount of free S0 2.

Corks and Caps
There are basically 3 types of corks you can use seal your bottles:
– Natural corks, which are the most expensive and most likely not the choice of most home winemakers because of the cost and ability to find good quality ones.
– Manufactured or agglomerated corks, which are used by most
homemakers because of reasonable cost and very good quality.
– Synthetic corks, which are plastic and are used by some home
winemakers and commercial wineries but personally have tried different brands and found they tend to leak so I stopped using them.
Without going into great details about types of corks and preparation I will say you should choose a good quality cork and use a corker that makes the job quick and hassle free. I usually let my bottles sit upright for 2-3 days before they are placed on the racks so the corks can expand and form a good seal in the bottle. Storing bottles on their sides keeps the corks wet so they don’t dry out over time.

Many commercial wineries and home makers are now using bottles with twist caps. This option eliminates the need to
choose what type of cork to use and the need of a corker.
There are many choices you can make when it comes to bottles, closures and methods to get your wine into the bottle and protecting it from spoiling.
The only choice you don’t have is to not keeping your equipment and work area clean and proper sanitation of everything that touches your finished wine.

Now here it is, my “5 Stupid Simple Free Ways to Get More Traffic and Leads Today! Take action on these strategies and you will have more traffic and leads coming into your life and business in the very near future!

1.) Post to Groups on Facebook
Now this method will work when you post relevant offers in relevant groups.
So for example don’t post something about health and wellness to a group of network marketers. Your message will fall on deaf ears. Also, don’t post about your online lead generation system in a group designed around health and wellness. See how that works? Congruency is key!
Also, you will notice that many times people go to network marketing groups and post links to their lead capture page or affiliate opportunity. If you want your message to be diluted, keep it the same as everyone else’s.
If you want to stand out, post a piece of content like a YouTube video or a blog post where you teach something and provide value. Then you promote  your link at the end and the law of reciprocity will kick in and you’ll have  more people visiting your site and taking an action like opting-in. I.E. Traffic and Leads.

2.) YouTube Videos
There are a ton of ways to generate leads and traffic and make sales with YouTube. If you’ve never done a video before, start with something simple like an “about me” video where you share your story. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never made any money in your business. If you’ve been doing a home based business for more than a month you can title it something like, “The 3 lightbulb moments I’ve had about building a home based business.” or share how your business has helped you feel a renewed sense of hope for the future. At the end simply invite people to take a look at your website by clicking the link below the video. Share your video on Facebook and
anywhere else you have a social audience. HINT: if you ask for your
Facebook friends to do you a favor and watch your video you will get way more people to watch it than if you just post it without a “do me a favor” type of message

3.) Post a “curiosity post” to your own Facebook wall
Most new marketers make the mistake of just posting a boring old run of the mill post to their Facebook wall and then complain when they don’t get any leads out of it. Here’s an idea. Make a post that engages the reader. 

Ask them a question. If you have a health and wellness business say
something like, “Finally found a way to get a piece of a growing trillion dollar industry. Wow this is exciting! Message me if you want some details.”
Okay do you see how that raises curiosity with your people and how
instead of posting something that doesn’t interest them you actually filter out the uninterested people and actually get the ones who are interested to actually MESSAGE YOU asking for information. Its what we call permission based marketing and it postures you as the authority instead of a sales person for XYZ company.
You can also ask questions of your Facebook audience related to your business, get a comment thread going, and then post a link to your website in a comment at the end of the thread. See how with this message your link is going to an active, engaged, interested segment of your Facebook friends instead of everyone. Stop trying to be everything to everyone. It’s bad marketing and it doesn’t work!

4.) Forum Marketing
There are all kinds of forums online related to all kinds of topics and many
in the home business industry. Do a Google search for “home business forums” find a few that look good and join them. BetterNetworker.com has an awesome home business forum. With forums you often get to create a signature with your website link so create a compelling reason for them to visit your website. That is how you get website visitors and leads with forums. Then you need to get as many eyeballs in front of your signature as possible. You do this by posting in the forum and ask good, thought provoking questions. Engage the other people in the forums. Ask for their
opinions on certain programs or training products. Make forum posts where you aks other forum members for their advice. Don’t try to hide the fact you are a newbie if you are.

5.) Twitter
There are hundreds of tools you can use with twitter to automate your traffic and lead flow on the social media giant. You can post links to your site as long as you also pepper in good relevant content. This can be content you’ve created or content other people have created. Follow the 4 E’s of social media marketing. Find and post content that Engages, Entertains, Enlightens and Educates your audience. If you do this your audience will come to LOVE you and you they will be way more likely to click on a link to your website and become a lead when you ask them to.
So if you post 5 times a day. 4 of those posts should follow the 4 E’s and 1 should promote your own website. Get it? You can find awesome content to post when you visit alltop.com and popurls.com as well as youtube.com and anywhere else you find good content that you enjoy.
On twitter you can also create a direct message that goes to anyone who follows you on twitter. This message can send them to your website and then you can automate the process to get people to follow you by using something like Hootsuite.com

Back pain is one of the most common medical complaints today; it’s also one of the hardest conditions to treat. A lack of understanding of back pain causes in the medical community isn’t the only thing to blame for this, however; misconceptions on the part of patients themselves can hinder effective back pain treatment. If you have back pain, take care to avoid the following errors when seeking diagnosis and treatment.


Back pain is common, so it’s nothing to worry about.
If you performed strenuous activity yesterday and feel muscle aches today, then there probably isn’t anything to worry about. But if you feel constant or recurring back pain, there is a problem. Chronic back pain is not a rare condition, but that doesn’t make it okay. Obesity is becoming normal, but that doesn’t make it healthy, right? Back pain conditions may be progressive; without identifying the cause (for example, harmful movement patterns), you may be perpetuating it. An occasional nagging pain can become a chronic condition if left untreated.

If the doctor can’t find anything wrong, I must be fine.
Unfortunately, your average medical doctor is not trained to identify all causes of back pain. This is why, according to Uptodate.com,
approximately 85% of back pain cases go undiagnosed. Unless you have a spinal problem that shows up on imaging tests, which most people don’t, you can’t count on a diagnosis. This doesn’t mean that nothing is wrong. You may have a chronic injury to the muscles or connective tissues. Most doctors aren’t aware of these types of dysfunction and therefore don’t know how to look for them and treat them. If you have undiagnosed back pain, seek out a physical therapist or massage therapist trained to identify soft tissue causes of back pain.

If it hurts, don’t do it.
This one is tricky since it’s true to an extent. If you have chronic back pain, rugby might not be for you. However, for many people with persistent back pain everything from exercising to simply getting out of bed can be painful.
Unless you have a severe spinal injury that requires immobility, prolonged bed rest is detrimental. Some pain and discomfort may be necessary to get moving, and that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t move.
Take arthritis, for example. Most people with arthritis experience the most pain and stiffness after a period of immobility. Getting moving is difficult for these people, but motion will lubricate their joints and reduce pain. Finding ways to move that are manageable is the most important thing to do.
Exercising in the water is beneficial to most people with back pain as it relieves stress from the back while still providing resistance.

Yoga is for the spiritual and/or hyper-flexible.
Banish any generalizations you have about yoga in your head aside from the use of poses. There are dozens of types of yoga, each of which emphasizes something different. Traditionally, yoga involves a spiritual component, but throughout the years new forms have evolved that focus on rehabilitative exercise for back pain. You don’t have to be a contortionist to benefit from yoga, either – you’re always encouraged to move slowly and safely within your own flexibility level.
A number of studies attest to yoga’s effectiveness as a back pain
treatment. One study, a discussion of which can be found at
www.sciencedaily.com, compares people with recurrent back pain who sought either conventional treatment or yoga for their back pain. The yoga group saved money and had a third less sick days from work due to back pain than the other group. Believing that yoga is “just not for you” may be keeping you from a helpful resource.

Chiropractors are quacks.
This prejudice against chiropractic doctors extends back to the second half of the 20th century before the American Medical Association gave chiropractic medicine the stamp of legitimacy in the 1980’s. It is one of the only forms of alternative medicine that mainstream medical culture views as scientifically proven today, yet some still maintain its fraudulence.
Like any form of treatment, chiropractic won’t work for everyone. However, if you have joint problems in the back or hips, you will likely find chiropractic care helpful. The manipulation techniques employed by chiropractors go beyond cracking your back; they can realign joints. If you want a more holistic approach to your treatment in general, consider seeing an osteopathic doctor. This type of doctor is similar to an M.D. but is trained in manipulation techniques as well.
Spinal manipulation can relieve pain, reduce the cost of your overall
treatment, and reduce the number of sick days you take form work due to back pain.

If you feel like work is taking the wind out of you, you’re not alone. Two in five adults report chronic stress at work. Many of us are gasping for a “breath of life” just like Queen Ravenna in Snow White and the Huntsman.
It’s hard work being queen, so she was looking to take in Snow White’s fresh breath to invigorate her.


The chilling lyrics from the film’s title song can easily be applied to how many Americans feel at work: “I was looking for a breath of? life / A little touch of heavenly light / But all the choirs in my head say no.”
With employees working long hours — their shoulders hunched over
computers and checking email at lightning speed — it’s no wonder many don’t take the time to breathe. Not to mention the choirs in our heads telling us that taking a break is a bad thing for our jobs and the company bottom line. But breathing is more important than ever before. Deep breathing is no longer just relegated to the practice or yoga or mindful meditation. It’s become an essential tool of the modern day work-life merge.
The Breath as Fuel
The breath is the sustaining force that keeps us in human form. It’s the fundamental transaction of life, the fuel to help us manage stress and the ignition switch for the creative impulse. Understanding how to harness it is crucial in the new world of work, where getting a handle on managing stress arguably offers a competitive edge. With so much spiraling out of control, the one thing we have the ability to master is our breath.
Harnessing the Breath at Work
Harnessing the breath, and channeling it more precisely, trains us to be mindfully aware of where we focus our attention and how we interact with our coworkers. Awareness is fostered when the breath is nurtured.
Deepening and slowing your breath helps trigger the  parasympathetic nervous system and tells the brain to release calming hormones. It creates the atmosphere from which to make better decisions.
The breath is the gateway to the silent space within. Not an easy place to get to in a 24/7 high-tech global marketplace where connectivity is the law of the land in “real time.” Here are five tips to using the breath to break work stress.

1. Morning Breath: Set your alarm for 10 minutes before you need to get out of bed. Upon awakening, sit up in bed in a comfortable position and keep your eyes closed. Open your mouth. With sound, breathe in and out three times into the pit of your belly, as if fogging a mirror. You’ll sound like Darth Vader. Then close your mouth and continue to inhale and exhale for a few minutes. Open your eyes and continue to breath in silence.

2. Commuter Breath: When travelling, or if working from home as you prepare to sit at your desk, just notice your breath. If you are driving in traffic or getting the kids off to school, as stress increases your breath gets shallow. Inhale to a count of three through your nose, hold for a moment, and exhale to a count of three or longer. As you breathe, think to yourself, “Breathing in, I am peace, breathing out, I am peace.”

3. Anchor Grounding Breath: Before you begin your work, set the tone for your day. Sit comfortably in your chair with an erect spine, shoulders relaxed, your head in alignment with your spine and your chin parallel to the floor. Place your right hand on your belly. Take a deep breath into the pit of your belly, deep into your diaphragm, and feel your breath push your hand out into a Buddha like belly. Breath in and out and feel your breath expand into your side body and back.

4. Mid-day Energizing Breath: By mid-day there’s plenty of stale air to dispose of. Sit up straight in your chair with your spine erect. Open your mouth and making a panting sound with equal inhalation and exhalation. Like a puppy. Close your mouth and continue that panting allowing the air passing over the back of your throat and in and out of your nose. Try for 10 seconds, pause and repeat. If you get dizzy, stop.

5. Workday Closure Breath: To end your workday, sit in your chair with a straight spine. Close your eyes. Bring your attention to the base of your spine. Imagine a pool of white lava sitting there. Start breathing in and out of your belly (diaphragmatic breathing). With every complete in and out breath the white lava crawls upward. Imagine it expands into the area right below your belly, rises into your stomach, into your heart, to your throat, to the area between your eyebrows, to your head and then pours out the crown of your head back down your spine to begin again.
